  • Create a detached ADU in the backyard for their adult daughter and husband who all wish to live more in a multi-generational arrangement on the property.

  • Needed shared and private backyard areas.

  • Small footprint, so natural light to allow the unit to feel bigger than it actually is.

  • Loft bedroom in vaulted gabled roof.

THE DESIGN RESPONSE

  • A sympathetic design similar in style to the existing house except with a more modern flavor.

  • High ceiling with natural light.

  • Super efficient floor plan 260 sf & small sleeping loft above.

  • Corner doors fold out.
